What is stress?
Stress is a normal experience, and everyone feels stressed at some point in their lives. Any type of pressure in your life can cause stress. Generally, people feel stressed when they’re about to try something completely new, or they come across some dangers and challenges in life. There are two kinds of stress: eustress and distress.
Distress: Distress is a stress when you feel negative about something currently happening in your life.
Eustress: Eustress is positive stress. Eustress is the feeling you want to have before important moments in your life, and it feels like butterflies in your stomach.
Effects of stress on everyday life:

Temporary stress that is totally normal and natural, and there’s nothing to be concerned about, as it helps you to stay focused and motivated to overcome the challenges. For example, being stressed about finding a job or a job interview, feeling anxious before a big test, or being embarrassed at certain social situations is totally okay and normal.
On the contrary, if you keep thinking, worrying, and stressing on minor issues and the things over which you have no control, your life will become miserable, and it will have a devastating effect on your emotional, mental, and physical health. Therefore, it is better to keep things balanced and go at a pace that's comfortable for your mental well-being.
Symptoms of Stress:
As stated earlier, If your symptoms are due to temporary stresses, like moving to a new home or starting a new job; that's totally fine. But, if the stress persists for a longer period, it can cause some serious diseases like heart problems, diabetes, and hypertension. Stress can also lead to depression. According to a study of Mental health Foundation in the UK, 51% of adults who were stressed also reported feelings of depressed.
Here’s the list of some of the most common physical symptoms of stress, although, in addition to physical symptoms, there are some common emotional & mental symptoms as well.
